FBR: scientific studies

The FBR Concept strategically dispenses with the heel to avoid, almost immediately, the harmful support of the heel, that which generates a significant reduction in the negative phase of the stride, as well as a notable decrease in the impact and length of time to support the foot during running. Likewise, this design allows a runner to take advantage of the elastic energy stored in the muscles and tendons in a safely and efficiently. This way it helps to improve the runner's sporting performance and to prevent the most frequent injuries derived from running.

This design is the result of five years of research by specialists in biomechanics of sports, podiatry and physiotherapy, carried out in the prestigious Sheffield Hallam University and in both the University of Valencia and the European University of Valencia. In fact, the results of these studies have been presented at the 8th World Congress of Biomechanics, held in Dublin in July 2018, as well as at the 33rd International Conference on Biomechanics, which took place in Poitiers (France) in 2015. They have been featured in the prestigious magazine Podiatry Now.

Next, we will present a summary of them.
